Backflow cones are best suited for a ‘waterfall’ burner. The smoke from these cones goes down which ‘falls’ down the burner. These cones have a slightly shorter burning time than regular cones. But has relatively much more odor released with this incense product. There are 24 cones in each packet, burning for approx 20min each (Country of Origin: India - EU Responsible Person: Ancient Wisdom CZ)
To enjoy your incense, light a backflow cone at the top of the waterfall burner. Blow out the flame as usual. The smoke will naturally flow down like a waterfall.
Under the backflow cones there is a hole in the middle. The air in this tunnel stays cool. Cool air flows down, that’s the smoke from these cones also flows down.

In addition to the hole, some more makko powder has been added to backflow cones. Makko powder is a powder made from the bark of the Machilus Thunbergii Tree. The powder shapes the cones and makes them smoke more than a regular cone. The higher the added amount of the powder, the more an incense product smokes. Backflow cones smoke a bit more than other incense cones, for the special effect.
